Current Positions available at Iron Range Behavioral Services

Iron Range Behavioral Services provides EIDBI and Therapy services to Minnesota clients in Duluth, Virginia, Hibbing and surrounding communities.

All applicants must be: 18 years or older, have ability to pass a background check, and maintain a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.

EIDBI/Floortime Therapist

Behavior Technicians at IRBS work with individuals under the age of 21 who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder or a related condition. Floortime therapists work under the supervision of a Qualified Supervising Professional to provide intervention services using DIRFloortime as indicated in the individual’s treatment plan. Behavior Technicians teach skills, collect data, and monitor progress on goals identified in the Individual Treatment Plan.

Behavior Technicians at IRBS provide services in client homes and in our office, depending on the needs of each individual.

  • Requirements for Level I Provider ($25+/hour):​

    • ONE of the following:

      • Completion of or current enrollment in a doctoral or master’s degree program in behavioral health, child development, or a related field (as determined by the Minnesota Department of Human Services)

      • BCBA certification

      • BcaBA certification with 4,000 documented supervised clinical experience

      • Completion of a bachelor’s degree program in behavioral health, child development, or a related field (as determined by the Minnesota Department of Human Services), AND advanced certification in a modality identified by DHS (ABA, Floortime, Play Project, et. al.)

  • Requirements for Level II Provider ($20+/hour):​

    • ONE of the following:

      • Completion of or current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in a behavioral or child development science (as determined by the Minnesota Department of Human Services)

      • Completion of an associate’s degree program in a behavioral or child development science and one year of full-time experience (2,000 hours) working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder or a related condition

      • Two years of full-time experience (4,000 hours) working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder or a related condition

      • Fluency in a language other than English and at least 18 years old

  • Requirements for Level III Provider ($18/hour):​

    • ONE of the following:

      • A high school diploma or GED

      • Within the past five years, one year of experience as a PCA, community health worker, waiver service provider, or special education assistant to an individual with Autism Spectrum Disorder or a related condition
